Along the way, you will reach, among other places, the Giardino della Meditazione, which is one of the historic sites along the route. Part of the path allows you to approach the Padule di Fucecchio and its reed beds along the banks of the Torrente Vincio. The circular route thus connects the former use of the land with the landscape features along the water.

Remembrance, church and local history

The Giardino della Meditazione commemorates the “Eccidio del Padule di Fucecchio” of 1944. Another memorial site is the Lapide ai caduti di Stabbia, a plaque commemorating civilian victims and Italian partisans.
