From Cavo’s town center, Spiaggia di Frugoso can be reached directly via the waterfront promenade and Via Bernardo Procchi. In the immediate surroundings of Cavo, Isolotto dei Topi can also be reached from the area of Spiaggia di Frugoso by canoe or boat. The coast includes several clearly named sections. In Cavo, a sandy beach stretches as far as Capo Castello. From Capo Castello to Capo della Vita, the coast is rocky. Cala delle Alghe can be reached via Via Capo Castello and then along a footpath.
