The hotel lies 750 metres above sea-level, on the slopes of the Poggio di Montieri. At this altitude you can take advantage of a refreshing climate, even in the hottest summer months. From here you can enjoy: cultural trips (Siena: 50 km, Massa Marittima: 22 km); sporting activities (horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking or tours with quad); a day at the beach (45 km); or just relax on the terrace by the swimming pool, or enjoy a hydro-massage in the hot tub. The warm rose color of the rock façade, the terracotta statues and floor tiles of the swimming pool terrace evoke the earthy tones of the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

Food & beverage

The cook will spoil you with typical Tuscan meals, accompanied by excellent wines of the region. Also, do not miss the midday picnics. They are the central meeting point for bike riders, horseback riders, hikers and others who would like to make the most of our picnic bus. By Car: From Florence - Take the highway in the direction of Roma/Siena. - Exit at Certosa. - Take the fast road in the direction of Siena. - After driving for about half an hour, take the exit for Colle Val D’ Elsa Sud. - Continue straight ahead through 3 roundabouts in the direction of Radicondoli. - At the next crossing, turn right in the direction of Radicondoli/ Follonica. - Leave the main road 10 km after Colle Val D‘Elsea. - At the crossing turn right in the direction of Radicondoli/Grosseto. - Continue following signs for Massa Marritima/Grosseto until 1 km before Montieri; turn right here in the direction of Massa Marittima. - After 500 metres, turn left. - After 50 metres, turn right towards the hotel. From Pisa: - Drive on the fast road in the direction of Rome/Follonica/Grosseto. - Exit at Follonica Est. - Continue on these small roads for approximately 40 minutes. - Turn left in the direction of Massa Marittima. - Take the main road around Massa Marittima in the direction of Laderello. - At the crossing after Massa Marittima, do not go to Siena/Florence, but turn left towards Laderello/Montieri. - Afterwards you will find signs for Montieri at every crossing. - 1 km before Montieri, turn right towards the hotel. From Rome: - Drive on the fast road (Aurelia) in the direction of Grosseto/Follonica. - Exit at Scarlino/Massa Marittima. - Continue for another 40 minutes on small roads in the direction of Massa Marittima. - Take the main road around Massa Marittima in the direction of Laderello. - Then, as above. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 2 to 6 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. There is no capacity for cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.
