For the first time Tuscan Chocolate fair – Fiera del Cioccolato was organised in Florence in 2005. Since then the event has become one of the most anticipating holidays. Within each year more and more guests take part in the event. The fair is an outstanding opportunity not only to taste different sorts of chocolate but also the opportunity to observe the process of its production. The thing is that Fiera del Cioccolato brings together cookery experts who deal with handmade way of chocolate production. Still it should be mentioned that Tuscan factory chocolate brands are on a high level as well. The British Chocolate Academy has already awarded Tuscan chocolate with special prize “Golden Bean” three times in a row. Last year the medals went to Amedei company which introduced chocolate: „Toscano Black 63%“, „Chuao“ and „Porcellana“. The above mentioned sorts were competing with more than three hundred other brands from many countries of the world.

Current Fiera del Cioccolato welcomes chocolate lovers 22-25, January, 2009. So experience sweet taste of Tuscan chocolate life!
