(Tuscan Festivals)

This August 13-16, Siena again welcomes all amateurs of horse racing. The event which has two stages already started on June, 29. The main race of the first round took place on July, 2 and the following round takes place on August, 16.

Luigi Bruschelli won the first round. He represented the city district of Dell Istrice. It wasn’t a surpise win. Luigi Bruschelli already has won the reputation of a professional Palio rider. This year he has got his 11th winner flag. Many specialists bet it’s not his final achievement.

All the 17 Siena city districts which possess considerable administrative independence take part in Palio di Siena. Though only 10 out of 17 secure the top ranking and promote their riders. The rest of Siena choose the favorites and then support them. Both riders and supporters get an unforgettable experience and pleasure. The main proof of this fact is that horse racing in Siena which have been taking place twice a year for almost 7 centuries receives thousands of guests.

Tuscany: Gastronomic Festivals in October
Towns and villages of Tuscany hold various gastronomic festivals regularly from May to October. These events are dedicated to some product or dish typical for this area. Tarot Garden
The Tarot garden as a work of art is a combination of landscape design, sculpture and architecture. The garden is located on the southern slope of the Garavicchio hill in the Tuscan Maremma, a few kilometers away from the town of Capalbio. The Franko-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle created it.

Versiliana
The festival of Versiliana is held in the town of Marina di Pietrasanta located in Tuscany, Italy. It lasts for two months from July, 1 till August, 31. The program of the 32nd festival traditionally includes drama performances, dances, musical show, as well as café meetings, entertaining events, and exhibitions.
